SITREP

Man, I really need to update more often. I gotta blame all the video games I've been playing lately.

Back at work after the xmas-nye break we all get. A week seemed like it would be an incredibly long time heading into it, but now I'm wishing for more. Gotta put in for a month-long dealie when the current project finishes.

Break was quiet, but with some good developments. The Moms found a new apartment and I've been helping her re-finish the floors and re-paint for move in. The current plan is to sell the current house, which I'll still be in until we sell. After that, us kids will get some proceeds from the sell to boost us along at whatever stage of our lives we'll be at. Should be helpful on the ol' house hunt.

2006 was pretty intense in a lot of parts, but overall a bit too quiet. I'm about ready for things to pick up a bit this year, so here's to a more exciting 2k7.

What have you been playing? I bought myself a Nintendo DS and have been playing FFIII

Advance Wars, mainly. I've picked up some other stuff, but Advance Wars is perfect because it's easy to pick up and play for short periods of time.

Sweet. I never got around to finished Advance Wars 2. It got really difficult towards the end.

I picked up ff3 as well, though, and I'll probably be picking it up again soon. I got Advance Wars DS shortly after ff3 and something about it just really appealed to me.

... but did we not speak of putting all this stuff down (somewhat) and training for b2b this year? I'm going to start the regular running schedule back up this week!

Oh, you meant the DS version of Advance Wars. I have the GBA version. The dual screen aspect of DS version should be cool. And it's partially real-time as well, no? In FF3, I just got the last set of jobs(except Chocobo Knights, that is) and haven't quite figured out which classes to train.

As for training, I just signed up for monthly membership at Berkeley IronWorks, so I'll be doing *some* physical activity there, though running should definitely be included in my regimen.
